I'm sure we will be seeing more death, even Macbeth's, towards the finishing of the book. This is a main topic to stay focused on because of the importance of the people who die and the meaning behind why they killed them. It is even relevant to the fact that let up to people hating Macbeth even when they didn't know. I believe that death it's self isn't making a statement in the play, but the death shows betrayal and the action of power used against someone which I believe is a statement represented in the play.

I agree that death in Macbeth is a major theme. Death in Macbeth is extremely gruesome in every scene we have both watched and read in class. It's crazy to think that Macbeth could murder his best friend... Anyway, nice post!
ReplyDeleteYea I would say death is a thing in this book. Good job!!! 1!
ReplyDeleteCamille, make sure you are distinguishing between death as something that happens frequently and death as a big idea in the play. It is both, but they are different, and a play can have a lot of death without necessarily saying something about death.
